Debating Poverty Tutor

Salary:  £26,464 to £39,528 per annum
Initial appointment will be in the above range per annum (depending on experience)

The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) delivers world-class research, learning and teaching that transforms the knowledge, action and leadership needed for more equitable and sustainable development globally. 

We are currently seeking to recruit a tutor for the MA in Poverty and Development module on Debating Poverty & Vulnerability: policy & programming. 

The Tutor will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of seminars and associated essential administration, in order to ensure a continuous and productive learning experience for the students. 

Applicants should have a PhD degree in economics or registration for and substantive progress towards this or a similar degree with an economics content and within this have an excellent understanding of development economics. Substantial practical experience in facilitating learning and knowledge sharing is essential along with excellent networking and communication skills.
