The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) delivers world-class research, learning and teaching that transforms the knowledge, action and leadership needed for more equitable and sustainable development globally.
We are seeking to recruit a coordinator to join the Fundraising & Development Office to support our critical functions (alumni relations, grants administration, partnerships and philanthropy). Responsibilities for the coordinator involves; coordinating data and information across institutional databases including researching individuals and charitable trusts and foundations, producing reports, coordinating and planning events, coordinating communications with alumni, and coordinating volunteers.
Applicants will need to be friendly, pro-active, and efficient with strong team working skills to help provide a professional service to IDS’s current and former students, partners, donors, and employees. The appointment necessitates some degree of autonomy and initiative and the need to make decisions daily within the agreed standards.
We can consider flexible working applications, including part-time hours (up to 0.8FTE).
