Fellow with expertise in Management of Health System Change

Salary:  £36,810 to £57,697 per annum
Initial appointment will be in the above range per annum (depending on experience)

IDS is seeking a fellow to contribute to the cluster's work on the management of health system change with a particular focus on one or all of the following: 

•learning from international experience, including that of China, with the management of health system change; 

•the changing roles of government and markets in health systems, harnessing technological innovation for health system change, and global health governance in contexts of change. 

S/he will participate in existing partnerships concerning research and development of global health public goods in China and the UK and on new approaches for engagement between government and the private sector for universal health coverage. There will also be opportunities to become involved in other cluster activities 

The new fellow will contribute to the support of an international network for research and mutual learning for researchers, government officials and private health service providers and develop proposals for additional funded work. He or she, could also be active in strengthening IDS collaboration with Chinese partners in research and mutual learning on new partnerships for global health.
