The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) delivers world-class research, learning and teaching that transforms the knowledge, action and leadership needed for more equitable and sustainable development globally. 

The Development Office at the Institute is seeking to recruit a Fundraising and Engagement Coordinator, initially for a 6-month period with the possibility of becoming permanent, to provide coordination support for the Fundraising and Development Office. Working closely with the alumni relations and engagement manager, the role involves supporting the Institute’s work in successful fundraising, through effective relationship-led engagement with alumni, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), trusts and foundations.  

Applicants will have excellent administrative and coordination skills and experience, including experience of data management, interrogation and maintenance of relational databases. Experience of Alumni relations and planning and coordinating events is an advantage.
