The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) is a global research and learning organisation for equitable and sustainable change, based in Brighton
The Finance Team at IDS are currently seeking to recruit a Contracts and Compliance Support Officer to support the IDS Contracts and Compliance Manager and wider research teams in ensuring that the way the institute manages its contracts with sub-contractors and partners is efficient, effective and legally compliant. As well as providing support to the institute as a whole, this role will provide targeted support for the DFID funded Coalition for Religious Equality and Inclusive Development (CREID) programme.
Applicants will be qualified to degree or equivalent level of higher education and have experience in drafting and finalising contractual agreements with individuals and organisations. Due to the nature of the CREID programme, cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate financial matters in straightforward English to a wide array of stakeholders is of particular importance.
